Sales Seminar Presentation

I am preparing my next project for Toastmasters: The Sales Seminar. The idea is to teach salesmen how do a better job at sales. Right now I am gather material for this speech.

The overall framework is going to be "mythbusters", busting common sales myths and misconceptions. Sone I will be addressing for sure is "The customer is always right". and "The lowest price gets the sale". I need others, any ideas would be welcome.

I am also going to mix in some experiences as a missionary. Although sales an missionary work are fundamentally different, there are some areas of overlap that will me to use some ancetdotes. What I need are some other ancedotes.

So here is what I am researching:
* Sales myths
* Good sales techniques
* Stories to use as examples of both of the above.

If you have any of the above, post a comment. Thanks

A review of various Milky Way myths that can be used as an introduction to whta myths are.

Here are some of the list of sales myths I have found:
* THE MYTHS OF SELLING
Here are my seven myths of competitive selling. I discovered them the hard way, and I pass them on in the hope that readers can benefit from my mistakes.
* 3 Marketing Myths that are Stopping you Succeed!
These 3 marketing myths can cause you to lose sales if you base your marketing decisions on them. We've given you some marketing tips to blast each myth and boost your sales.
* The Myth About Price
I will never dispute that price is a factor in every sale. However, it is seldom the primary factor. If price was the only reason people bought goods and services, high-end boutiques and companies that sell premium products would not exist.
