Donating to a food bank

The food banks here locally are providing relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina as well as the local people who are in need.  As a result, the food banks could really use donations of food.  For a drop off center see the Utah Food Bank at http://www.csc-ut.org/

The following are the items most needed by Utah's hungry.
(Print to create your own check-list.)

Peanut butter
milk (canned and powdered)
canned meats
boxed dinners like macaroni & cheese and Rice-a-Roni
canned soup, stew, chili and beans
canned fruits and vegetables & canned tomato products
boxed hot or cold cereals
baby foods & formula (not outdated) and diapers
personal care items - toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant and feminine hygiene
products
