eBay Auctions for Charity
Go to eBay and click on Giving Works.http://pages.ebay.com/givingworks/index.html
From there you can either buy an item that the seller has committed to donate a portion of the sale to charity. You can also sell an item and have part or all of the proceeds go to charity. There are lots of charities there, not all dedicated to helping hurricane victims, but worthwhile all the same. I checked the American Red Cross link and there are over 400 pages of items for auction. Great way to get and give at the same time.
If you were thinking of selling something on eBay, Why not donate part of the sale to the Red Cross? Something to consider.
