Lewis Carroll applied to Toastmasters

When preparing a speech keep it focused. Keep in mind the wisdom of the Cheshire cat:
One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter.
While doing a speech or a table topic don't forget to:
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop.
And for the evaluators:
Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it.
